Website competitive analysis

Find the gaps customers can actually see

A competitor website comparison helps you see why a visitor might understand, trust or contact one business more easily than another. This tool discovers public pages through site maps and internal links, then checks them for service explanations, useful answers, local details, project examples and contact options. Each finding shows the pages checked, what was found, why it matters and what you can improve. It does not measure search rankings.

Build your comparison

Enter the websites you want to compare

Your website and one competitor are all you need to get started. If you want a more focused comparison, add the services or customer areas that matter most to your business.

Separate items with commas or new lines.
For example, the city or community your customers are in.
We discover pages from sitemap indexes and internal links, then inspect up to this many public pages. The broadest scan is selected by default; the report tells you if more pages were left to check.
One public page address per line. Add a case study, key service page or other page the scan should not miss. Each address must belong to one of the websites above; these pages are queued near the start of that site’s crawl.

Discovers same-site pages from sitemaps and links. Respects robots.txt. Public pages only; nothing is changed.

Use the evidence, not the score alone

What a competitor website comparison can tell you

01

Where competitors go deeper

Dedicated service and location pages can make an offer easier for people and search systems to understand. The report shows the actual examples it found.

02

What a page helps a customer decide

A service name alone does not explain who it is for, how it works or what happens next. Read the detected examples to see where a page answers those questions and where more detail would help.

03

How trust is demonstrated

Project examples, testimonials, team details, warranties and credentials are observable trust evidence. Their presence is compared without inventing review totals.

04

Where enquiries may be lost

Clear calls to action, contact options and a short path to the next step help visitors act. The analysis contrasts those paths page by page.

What you can learn

How easy important pages are to reach; how well services and locations are explained; whether pages offer clear titles, useful answers, trust evidence, displayed customer feedback, project examples and a next step. Technical checks are explained in everyday language.

What the report cannot prove

It cannot see private analytics, actual sales, all backlinks or Google rankings. It also cannot prove that a displayed review or credential is genuine. “Not found” means not detected in the pages reviewed, not definitely absent from the whole website.

Frequently asked questions

About this competitor website analysis

What does a website evidence score mean?

It summarizes the checks completed on the public pages reviewed. For example, a service page that explains the offer, answers customer questions and provides a clear contact option has more observable supporting evidence than a page that only names the service. The score is not a Google ranking, traffic estimate or verdict on your whole business. Read the examples and recommendations beside it.

What does the competitor website comparison scan?

It discovers public page addresses from robots.txt, sitemap indexes and child sitemaps, then follows same-site links up to the chosen scan limit. It checks readable pages for service and location coverage, page structure, content, metadata, schema, trust evidence, calls to action, FAQs and project evidence. The report shows how many pages it discovered, read and could not read.

Will this tool change my website or a competitor website?

No. The scanner reads public pages only. It does not log in, edit pages or submit forms.

Why might some evidence be unavailable?

A website may block automated requests, rely heavily on browser-rendered content, return errors or expose fewer crawlable pages. Unavailable checks are labelled instead of being guessed.

Does “not found” mean my website does not have it?

No. It means the item was not found in the readable pages included in this comparison. It could be on another page, appear only after a visitor interacts with the site or be blocked from public access. Check your website before deciding to add something new.

How should I use the 30-day plan?

Start with the four-week overview, then open each day for one specific action and a check for when it is complete. Verify recommendations against your customers and goals before publishing. Print / Save PDF includes the weekly overview and all 30 days, not just the day currently on screen. Completion is kept in this browser.
