What the tool monitors

Competitor Alerts checks publicly accessible HTML text. It does not monitor search rankings, social media activity or advertising campaigns, and it cannot access password-protected content. Some websites block automated checks or require JavaScript, which can prevent monitoring.

Suggested pages are checked for readable content when their first scan runs. Daily check timing can vary, and rotating website content may also trigger an alert. Review the original page before making business decisions.
